One more reason . . .
not to shop at Wal-Mart.
Wal-Mart launches gay-friendly initiative.
To quote Tom Perkins:
“This is outrageous. Wal-Mart has made its billions by serving the needs of rural communities throughout America. It has never discriminated against homosexuals who want to purchase their products at low prices. Nor has it discriminated in hiring against homosexuals. But that is not enough. The homosexual lobby demands that Wal-Mart grovel. They demand that Wal-Mart take sides in the great cultural clash over marriage.”
We’ve been boycotting them for a while now so this news is just another reason to continue.

Aug 27, 2006 - 03:08:21I’ve been boycotting Wal-Mart for months over their decision to sell the “Plan B” pill from their pharmacy. I wrote them about it in protest, and was given a response like “Well, everyone else is selling it [business] and we felt it was in the best interests of our business.” (paraphrase, not an actual quote). I haven’t shopped there since. I love their prices, but I can’t sanction their practices or policies by giving them my hard-earned money.
