Left Brain - Right Brain

3975200_b34337dacbThere was a nifty little test in the packet that Ann Anzalone gave out at her Memphis talk last weekend. Hubby’s score was a 2 and mine was 18 and that puts us at the highest end of opposite spectrum’s. But you know what? I feel so validated now!! :-) Really, we’ve had some good discussions since I got home and he admits that though he doesn’t understand the way I work, I truly DO get things done. Of course he really thinks that if I did things more his way–the “proper” way, I would be even MORE productive. Of course I explained to him that I really wouldn’t be, I’d just be frustrated and my creative juices would be stifled. ;-)
So then I got to thinking about how temperament and learning styles comes into play with all this too. Hubby is a visual melancholic and I’m a visual choleric. One of our daughters is a left-brained, auditory choleric and the other is a right-brained kinestetic sanguine. The boys are a mix of everything else too!
All these personalities sure keep things interesting and it’s great to be able to better understand them. We truly are “wonderfully and fearfully made”!

I don’t even need to take a test to see which side I’m on. The picture says it all. LOL
