Happy News!
Our oldest son Timothy has asked his girlfriend Carolyn to marry him and she has said yes!
We are truly very happy for them!
Carolyn is a wonderful young woman and we welcome her to our family with open arms.
Congratulations Timothy and Carolyn —we love you both!
.In case you’re wondering, yes this is the son who entered the seminary in August of 2005. He finished a year there but didn’t feel he was being called to continue. Obviously God had other plans.

What a beautiful couple! There does seem to be a serenity in their eyes as they look out into a future together. Congratulations!
Your blog set-up, by the way, is just the prettiest out there!
Congratulations!! That is wonderful! They look like such a sweet couple.
My father-in-law spent a year in the seminary too. He left and married my mother-in-law. They had 5 children, 1 daughter and 4 sons. So far, 2 of their sons are priests, and a 3rd will be ordained in May! I’m sure that year your son spent will help him be an even better husband and father… and who knows, maybe you will have a few grandsons become priests!!!
Truly wonderful news!
What lovely news:). And not only does Carolyn get a wonderful young man for a husband, she gets a pretty good mother-in-law too ;).
