I know I’m not your target audience for this series of posts but I wanted to thank you anyway for writing them. Type 2 diabetes runs in my family and I’m definitely at risk. I never knew about how you count carbs (that 15g equals one carb exchange for instance) and I think that info will be very helpful to me as I try to change my lifestyle to avoid getting diabetes.

I just filled up last night (Cincinnati, OH) for $1.63/gal. Would you believe it was nearly $.10 higher a mile up the hill closer to our house? Same ‘brand’ of gas too…go figure!

We saw it for $1.69 this morning. I just can’t believe it. It was $4.50 mid July.

It’s not there. The calendar is the complete Church year. Nov. 30, 2008 to Nov. 28, 2009.

Nov. 29, 2009 starts the following Church year, so it’s not on the calendar.

Make sense?

Here is Sioux Falls, SD we are at 1.74 or less. I too never thought I would see it down there again. So sad to be saying that. I just hope it keeps dropping to the 1.50 they say it will be at Christmas for traveling. Happy Thanksgiving to all. God bless!

here in Australia we pay per litre. There are about 4 litres in a gallon and we are paying around $1.15 for the cheapest fuel here.

I talked to my dad yesterday (they are at like $1.75 or something where he is) and he said that a friend of his saw some younger teenage girls posing below a sign at a local gas station while their friend took a picture. His friend asked them what they were doing and they said they were taking a picture of this because they couldn’t remember ever seeing gas under $2.00/gallon. That then prompted my dad to say, “Well what would they do if they knew that when I started driving it was between 20 and 30 cents a gallon?”
