Diabetes –how you live

As part of my ongoing effort to educate my friends and family about type 1 diabetes I am offering yet another installment. How exactly do you live with this disease? For my children life means a diet that is monitored and 4 shots of insulin a day plus 8 – 10 finger sticks for blood glucose checks.
