Afternoon tea
We’re supposed to get 6 inches of snow tomorrow - with sleet and ice! 6 inches is no big deal and could be fun to play in (well not for me, I’ll stay inside with my tea thank you very much) but sleet and ice?? Yuck! I’m with the guy on the radio…why can’t we just have a normal snow storm like the rest of the country? In any case I have no plans to go anywhere. I have a head cold that’s leaving me feeling rather whoozey. (Is that a word? Spell check isn’t liking it.)
On a nicer note, check out this lovely little package we got in the mail today:
It’s a Valentine surprise from my dh’s sister Donna! Isn’t that sweet (no pun intended)!
And look what she sent me - CHOCOLATE.
What a sister in law! Thanks Donna! Of course I told the kids they had to wait until Wednesday to enjoy the treats. But now I’m looking at that chocolate and realizing that means I can’t have any until Wednesday either. What was I thinking???
