Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit (vitae spiritualis ianua), and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Congratulations on her baptism. What a blessing — it always makes me choke up with each of my children when I realize the amazing graces that are being poured into their souls at that moment. (and the smell of the chrism is pure heaven for me)
