". . . when we say that the Church is a family, we mean it quite literally. The Church is not a reflection of the reality that is "family"—quite the opposite. The family is a reflection of the reality that is the Church." -Fr. Robert Johansen

A gift for you

The new year starts in two weeks! The new Church year that is.

I spent a little bit of time today making this liturgical year calendar for your computer desktop —in 4 sizes:

Click the images to view the larger sizes and then right click to save to your computer.

Of course you can also print them out if you’d like.? Either way, enjoy!

As always, personal use only please.

Thanks!

  7. You just reminded me that I have to order my new calendar you introduced me to in the RCIA class. This will be the 3rd year we proudly display it in our dining room area. Xia and I visit it each morning :-) Here’s the <a href=”http://www.ltp.org/p-1815-year-of-grace-liturgical-calendar-2009-poster-paper.aspx”site for anyone else.

Is November 29th missing, or am I just not seeing it, lol.

    In Christ,

    Leocea

  10. MicheleQ says:

    Leocea,

It’s not there. The calendar is the complete Church year. Nov. 30, 2008 to Nov. 28, 2009.

Nov. 29, 2009 starts the following Church year, so it’s not on the calendar.

    Make sense? :-)

  11. FABULOUS! Thanks, Michele!

    This IS beautiful.
But, shouldn’t May 31st be red for Pentecost?

  13. MicheleQ says:

Ah you’re right Blax! OK it’s fixed and I found a few other mistakes too (Holy Thursday should be white not red).
