". . . when we say that the Church is a family, we mean it quite literally. The Church is not a reflection of the reality that is "family"—quite the opposite. The family is a reflection of the reality that is the Church." -Fr. Robert Johansen

A fun skirt

This is a fun skirt to make. I cut off an old pair of my dd’s jeans and added a skirt to the bottom which is just two rectangles gathered at the top. I just serged the bottom edge to finish it and added a ribbon for a belt. Dd loves it and wears it almost all the time!

I recently re-found a partially finished dress that will never, ever fit dd, but if we adapt we might end up with this lovely (no pattern, just my speed) creation! Thanks for the inspiration.

OOh! I love this skirt. I have a couple pairs of jeans laying around the house. Do you think I am too old to wear one Michele? :) It really is darling!
