General:That the Synod of Bishops may help bishops and theologians as well as catechists and pastoral workers engaged in the service of the Word of God transmit with courage the truth of the faith in communion with the entire Church.

Missionary:That in this month dedicated to the missions, through the promotional activities of the Pontifical Missionary Works and other organisms, the Christian may feel the need to participate in the Church’s universal mission with prayer, sacrifice and concrete help.

A book walk!

I’m a little late posting this but be sure you don’t miss the Book Walk Bonanza Cay Gibson’s throwing this week for everyone who has purchased A Picture Perfect Childhood through the month of January.

Yep, everyone who ordered a copy of A Picture Perfect Childhood this month will have their name put into the Book Walk Cake Bowl for four drawings of picture books donated by Flashlight Press.

If you haven’t yet ordered Cay’s new book do it now because the price goes up on Friday Feb. 1st. . . that’s in two days! You can feel really good about it too because a percentage of sales will go towards purchasing new illustrated books which will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
