Sundays of the year form the outer circle, and each spoke of the wheel represents a week, although the software I use to create it starts the week on a Monday so the calendar jumps to the inside circle for Monday and moves up from there. The seasons are defined by colors as are solemnities, feasts and memorials of the saints.
