In my organizing of a few days ago I realized that our copy of The Harp and Laurel Wreath was missing. Of course no one knows where it is and a thorough search under beds and beneath cushions did not turn it up. So I ordered another copy –because we use it A LOT and well, if it does turn up, two copies would be just fine because like I said. . . we use it a lot.
As I was ordering it another book caught...
There are all sorts of lists all over the blog world and I have, in the past, joined in a few of them (they are all lovely!). But I am just too busy and distracted these days to keep track of what goes when so I’m just going random. There’s no set day or time, no logo and no Mr. Linky –I’m just blogging.
–The conference talks are FINALLY ready. I hate that it took so long but we...

Words of wisdom from Fr. Angelo and St. Max:
“There is no one to be found in the world that does not search for happiness; indeed, in all of our actions happiness presents itself to us, in one form or another, as the end toward which we naturally tend. However, a happiness which is not built on the foundation of truth cannot endure, because everything else is a lie. The truth can be and is the only the...
It’s over and I’m tired –but it’s a good tired. Attendance numbers were low but both attendees and vendors told me they had a great time. I did too but it’s nice to be back to real life. “The sheriff’s back in town!” said Daddy to Little Miss M as I sat her in time out this morning. You betcha!

Sounds like an oxymoron of a title doesn’t it? But that’s what it feels like. Lazy, laid back, but still rather crazy days. It’s summer so we’re not homeschooling much but it’s the height of planner season so I’m filling orders almost every day –and drinking loads of fresh brewed iced tea (lemon, no sugar, thank you). I am ever so grateful that the planners are...

Could you do me a HUGE favor? If you are planning to attend the 2009 Family-Centered Learning Conference could you register in advance?
It makes my life SO much easier to be able to know in advance how many people to plan for. After all we always have a very nice free continental breakfast but if we don’t know how many people are coming we could run out of food!
Seriously, I know many people like to keep...
