Remember my self-imposed fabric buying restriction period, a.k.a. “fabric diet”?
Well I still haven’t bought any fabric, BUT Easter is a week and a half away. . . Yay! ~happy dance~ . . . surely part of celebrating Easter means buying fabric – right?! Oh and get this, Easter lasts for 50 DAYS!

I goofed. I tried to upgrade – not a problem. I messed something up and poof it was all gone. But still not a problem because hey I have a back up . . . um yeah, but apparently it doesn’t back up the pictures and they are gone (unless they are linked somewhere else – which some are, but most aren’t). This isn’t new but I’m posting it to show the chapel veils I made for my daughters a while back.
This is a simple triangle with the edges overcast with a tight zig-zag. I stretched as I sewed so that it would ripple. It was very easy and I was quite pleased with the result. This weather is crazy! Two days ago it was 75 degrees – this morning my backyard has a thin layer of ice and snow on it and it’s still coming down. I have to admit I really did think Spring had arrived but obviously she’s just been playing with me – taunting me.
