Friday July 25th:
Family-Centered Picnic at Long’s Park Pavilion #2
Bring the whole family!
Long’s Park has plenty to do with tennis courts, fabulous playgrounds, a petting zoo and a small lake.
We’ll be meeting from 4 PM until dark.
Dinner is potluck –bring something to share. We’ll supply the lemonade!
(Please provide your family’s own utensils and place settings. There is no fee or registration required for the picnic.)
Saturday July 26th
Family-Centered Learning Conference at
Liberty Place Theater & Conference Center - Lancaster, PA
8:00 - Doors open for registration and check-in.
8:30 - Mass begins at 8:30 a.m. Continental breakfast will follow.
9:45 - Welcome!
10:00 - Alice Gunther ~ A Garden Well Tended: Living the Liturgical Year in the Catholic Home.
11:15 - Margot Davidson ~ Purposeful Literature Study: Making Good Readers Great Thinkers.
12:30 - Lunch
1:45 - Mary Ellen Barrett ~ Tending the Wildflowers in Your Garden: Cultivating Love and Acceptance for Your Special Needs Child.
3:00 - Meredith Henning ~ Bringing Sweetness to Early Childhood Education: The Preschool Learning Corner.
4:15 - Alice Gunther ~ What about Socialization?
5:30 - Conference ends. Vendor area will remain open until 6PM.
